Jammu, Sept 27: In order to give a major push to the infrastructure and coping up with the requirements of the public, State Vice President BJP and MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma, along with Deputy Commissioner Jammu Simrandeep Singh toured various spots of Jammu West and located lands for construction of a Mini Stadium and a fully equipped Public Park in the Constituency. Pertinent to mention, it was discussed with the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed in the meeting of District Development Board concerning construction of the same in the Constituency. Addressing the media persons, Sat Sharma appreciated the efforts of DC Jammu for looking into the matter early so that necessary works could be started on the lands soon in order to provide better services to the masses of not only the Constituency but the residents of Jammu too. Giving details of the locations visited, he said that the locations visited by the team included land adjacent to 4th Tawi Bridge, Bhagwati Nagar for a Mini Stadium in Ward Number 14, Land at Gole Panj Peer in Ward Number 32 and JDA land at Shant Nagar area. Simradeep Singh said that locations identified for the purpose have been seen and soon after talking with the experts, the works will be taken up in the areas in order to provide better assistance to the masses. He stated that there was a dire requirement for a Mini Stadium and a fully equipped Public Park in the area and soon the problems of the public will be sallied when the best infrastructure will be provided to them in the coming days. BJP Treasurer Parmodh Kapahi, Mandai Presidents Ayodhya Gupta and Praduman Singh, Surinder Chaudhary, Rakesh Mishra, Karan Sat Sharma, Sat Pal Karlupia, Udham Singh, Darshan Lal, Sanjay Sawhnev Dr Dineshwar Sharma, Sahil Gupta, Atul Bakshi, Sat Pal Khajuria, Sorav Gupta, Ashwani, Ankush Sharma and several others were also present on the occasion. |
