Jammu, Sept 27: A Smagam was organized at Gurudwara Digiana Ashram, Jammu under the supervision of Mahant Manjeet Singh Ji of Shiromani Dera Nangali Sahib, Poonch in connection to distribute the cash/cheques among the six injured and one killed in police firing some months ago at Gadigarh. The leaders of various Sikh organizations of J&K and including Bhai Kanaiya Ji Nishkam Sewa Society, All India Sikh Student Federation, Sikh United Front, Sikh Welfare Society, Sikh Naujawan Sabha and Members of OGPC, Jammu. This amount has been donated by a USA based Sikh Organisation namely "SIKHS FOR JUSTICE" worth 20000 Dollars. The said amount was handed over by Mahant Manjeet Singh Ji to the family of Late Jasjeet Singh of village Chohalla of Tehsil RS Pura and / among the injured in police firing and performed Ardas in memory of killed and also in favour of USA Sikhs for donating a huge amount. While addressing the gathering Sikh leaders demanded suspension of SSP, Jammu Uttam Chand who ordered for firing without any cause and without magisterial orders and also demanded judicial enquiry by a retired Judge of High Court. The Sikh leaders strongly .criticized the so called Sikh leaders who entered into the negotiations and sell the brutally injured sentiments of Sikh community after killing a innocent youth Jasjeet Singh. They further said that the Sikh Panth shall-never forgive the President, State Gurudwara Parbhandhak Board and his associates with some BJP leaders.
