Jammu, Sept 27 : To aware the masses about the importance of cleanliness and making the nation neat, clean and green, DPS Jammu in collaboration with JMC Jammu participated in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The programme started at Radio Kashmir Jammu Chowk in which the staff and the student of the school participated. On occasion, the students were holding pamphlets for distribution among the general public and banners duly beautifully written slogans like "EK Kadam Swachhta Ki Ore and Say No to Polythene Bags etc. The rally was flagged off by Jugal Kishore Sharma, MP and MLA East Rajesh Gupta. During the occasion, they took oath pledging for keeping the area near to their houses neat and clean. They also appreciated the school management and MCJ for making the general public aware about the benefits of cleanliness and pure environment. |
