New units in Ramban lack basic facilities 10/3/2015 11:09:49 PM Danish Muzafar Early Times Report BANIHAL, Oct 3: The newly created administrative units in district Ramban are without the basic facilities and many offices are still not functioning there. The units also lack telecommunication facilities. Many offices in Tehsil Khari of Banihal in District Ramban are not functioning. The tehsil is still not connected with rest of the state through telephone. Only Aircel and Airtel mobile communication is available in the area with limited network. Tehsildar Khari Tanveer ul Majeed in his letter to the authorities of Baharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) said that the area is still disconnected. He requested land line and broad band facility in this newly created tehsil . When contacted, the tehsildar told Early Times that their offices established in the newly created tehsil cannot function due to lack of the facility. He further ordered the concerned to start their offices in rented accommodation and make service delivery possible at door steps in a transparent way in quick possible manner.
