LWWS stages play 'KHAALI PLOT' | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 3 : Lalded women welfare society today Staged nukkad play "KHAALI PLOT'' at R. S Pura, Rani Park as per it's Saturday series. The play was conceived and written by Rampaul Dogra and directed by Naveen Pal. The play tells that Nathu and Paali are neighbours and respect each other very much. Nathu has relations with some property dealers and sometimes he earns profit out of it. He works as agent who keeps hawk's eye on vacant plots which are unutilized for years together. He has also settings with revenue officials for making fake documents of such piece of land to make money faster. On the other hand Paali being honest and simple person owned a plot which was purchased by his father long back but could not construct that because of money. One day, Nattu came along with some goons at plot site and started occupying forcibly and when Paali gets information, he too jumped into fight for rescue. Nattu's gundas over powered Paali and injured him badly. There was big fight took place but were separated by their families after rushing over there. A huge crowd of people witnessed the scene but none came front to put them separate. Suddenly few senior citizens came out from the crowd and defuse the tension and advised both the parties to remain silent and same will be sorted out in mohalla meeting as per law. The prominent who gave performances in the play were Rampaul (social activist, co-coordinator & Singer), Naveen Pal (Actor and Director), Santosh Basotra, Kanchan Basotra, Anju Sanotra, Renu Nargotra and others. The audience appreciated and watched with great interest. |
