UDHAMPUR, Oct 5 : Parveen Club clinched the men's handball trophy outplaying Braham Rishi Bawra Club 32-25 in the final of District Udhampur Handball Championship concluded today at Mini Stadium, here.
The women's title trophy went to Braham Rishi Bawra Club, who beat KC Gurukul Club by a convincing margin of seven goals with final score being 11-04.
Finals were officiated by the technical penal comprising Ajay Sharma, Manmeet Singh Rishi Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Vikrant Balgotra, Sourabh Pandit, Ajit Singh and Sanjay Kumar.
In the valedictory function, Joint Director Planning, Rakesh Jamwal was chief guest, who gave away the winners and runners-up trophies as also other individual prizes.
General secretary of J&K Handball Association, Ashwani Raina, chairman selection committee, Rajinder Kumar and Sandeep Verma were guests of honour. |
