BEd annual exams going on, revaluation result of bi-annual yet to be declared | JU fleecing students | | GS Asgotra Early Times Report jammu, Oct 5: It may sound bizarre but true, the administration of premier institution, the University of Jammu (JU) has left no stone unturned to turn the premier institution into money minting institution as now the varsity is conducting the annual exams of B.Ed but those students who had applied for revaluations after result of Bi-annual, the result is yet to be declared. Moreover, making mockery of the examination, the authority of varsity hired centers with poor facilities to conduct the exams. A candidate in annual exams, Sushil Kumar informed that he had failed to crack all the papers in first attempt, then he further appeared in June-July2015 (Bi-annual) but unfortunately he was again unsuccessful in "School Management and Pedagogic of education", following which he applied for revaluation. "Astonishing, rather than declaring the result of revaluation , JU is conducting B Ed annual exams", he said. "Despite repeated order by the Chancellor of University, the result should be declared on time same is not being done", said Naresh Sharma, another victim of JU's autocracy. He further said that he was not an isolated case who is being victimized by the JU authority, there are lots of students of the different streams, getting same treatment. "The lackadaisical approach of varsity could be judged from the fact that in recent declaration of result of social sciences streams, the Controller Examination arbitrarily hiked Rs 100 in examination fee and when he was questioned, he could not justify his act", he added. The students also alleged that it seems that the JU has only agenda to fleece student community rather than providing them a conducive environment during examination and declaring timely results. |
