SMSNHSS celebrates World Animal Day 10/5/2015 10:05:57 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 5 : SM Shishu Niketan Higher Secondary School (SMSNHSS) celebrated World Animal Day on Monday. The porgramme was organised in school premises in the presence of Managing Director Parneesh Mahajan, Liaison Officer Harvinder Singh Sihotra, Principal Manikarnika Bhasin, Co-ordinator Kawaljeet Kour and Staff. A special assembly was held in which teachers gave the concept to the students regarding the day was being celebrated. The small kids acted like animals by wearing the mask of animals. Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director said that celebrating Animal Day is to make humans aware that animals are equally important and we should not treat them or act with cruelty. He further said that we characterize them as animals yet the only animal that displays cruelty is humanity.
