| Minor among 5 killed in road mishaps | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 5: Five persons including a minor were killed in different road accidents here since Sunday night.
Police said that a minor was crushed to death by a truck near Karyani Talab at Narwal in the morning. He was identified as Mohammad Yousaf (4), son of Mushtaq of Karyani Talab. The family originally hails from Burma.
The incident took place while he was playing near his residence.
A motorcyclist, who was injured on being hit by a Bolero jeep at Kathua, succumbed to his injuries at the Government Medical College and Hospital here. He was identified as Amzad Farooq (25), son of Farooq Ahmed of Mandi, Poonch.
Bachhitar Singh, son of Himmat Singh of Simbal Camp, was injured on being hit by a truck near his locality. He was admitted to the GMCH where he died.
At Jhajjar Kotli, a pedestrian was crushed to death by a car last night. He was identified as Yog Raj (27), son of Paras Ram of Saketar.
In collision between a motorcycle and a truck at Samba Morh, Paramjeet Singh (21) of Rajasthan was killed. He was at present putting up at Bari Brahmana.
Police have registered cases in this connection. |
