HC directive to CE for macadamisation of parking area 10/5/2015 10:17:16 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 5: In a PIL filed by Bar Association Jammu, a high court division bench of Justice Hasnain Massodi and Justice B S Walia today directed the chief engineer to float NIT for the macadamisation of parking area adjacent to the district court complex here. When the matter was taken up today, the chief engineer, who was present in the court, expressed his inability to go ahead with the black topping of the parking area adjacent to the district court complex, Jammu, on the ground that the necessary approval was yet to be accorded by the competent authority. Upon this, the bench deferred the matter and directed to list it after 2 pm, asking the chief engineer to contact the concerned commissioner to seek his approval for the work. When the matter was again taken up after break, the chief engineer told the court that the commissioner had granted permission to float a NIT to carry out the macamdamisation of the parking lot.
