| Army provides furniture to Schools in Sunderbani | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 5: Kalidhar Brigade of Army under the aegis of Crossed Swords Division provided desk tables at Govt Lower High School, Balshama, Govt Boys High School, Siot and Govt Middle School, Sunderbani.
The students studying in these schools, being from remote villages and poor families, lack the basic educational infrastructure to pursue quality education.
The school staff realizing their limitations approached the Army authorities and requested help in terms of infrastructural upgradation and development of standards of these schools in the remote border areas.
In keeping with the aspirations of school children, the Army has provided furniture to help them accomplish their dreams.
The event of distribution was attended by the school staff, students, Army officials and other prominent members of the civil administration.
Those present in the gathering admitted that such continued help has boosted the morale of the students and encouraged more children to attend schools in addition to increasing goodwill towards the Army. |
