PWD casual labourers hold protest 10/5/2015 11:05:02 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 5 : Demanding regularisation policy for the workers engaged after 1994, Jammu and Kashmir PWD Casual Labourers Union held a protest on the consecutive 5th day under presidentship of Satlsh Kumar Sharma and Vice president Bhanu Partap Singh. Amid slogans in support of their demands, the protestors urged the Government to frame regularisation policy for all causal workers, who are working in the department for the past over a decade. They also demanded release of wages under proper wages head. They also expressed anguish meted out by the previous State Government by making false promises for regularization of around 1336 casual labourers working in PW(R&B) Department. The new coalition Government formed only high power committee for the budget.
