JAMMU, Oct 28: Organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association, the Jammu District Billiards and Snooker Championship shall start tomorrow at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium.
"To begin with, we will be holding Junior Billiards event from tomorrow.
A good number of around 30 junior cueists have come forward to take part in the event which is being held after a gap of three years. A committed team has been involved in the Association and hopefully the game will be taken to new height in the state," general secretary of the Association, Vishal Abrol told.
Former state champion Vishal informed that the competition shall be declared open at 4.30 pm, followed by the matches as per the already drawn schedule. Meanwhile, as per the organisers, those interested to take part in the competition can still submit their entries by contacting the general secretary, Vishal Abrol on Mobile No. 94191-27801 and president, Sanjeev Gupta (9797424547). |
