JAMMU, Oct 28: Fanatic Independent MLA Engineer Rashid, who had brazenly violated rule of law by organizing a beef party in public place, is still roaming free and spitting venom to divide society on communal lines but State Government has failed to take action against him.
Not only Engineer Rashid had arranged a beef party openly to hurt sentiments of minority community in J&K but he had allegedly enacted drama of ink attack at New Delhi to further instigate people of Kashmir Valley.
Initial investigation conducted by the investigating authorities has raised doubt over involvement of activities of some Hindu groups in throwing ink on Engineer Rashid. Those who threw ink on Engineer Rashid claimed to be activists of unknown Hindu Sena so investigating agencies are looking into all angles. It is believed in some circle that drama was enacted by Engineer Rashid himself just to instigate innocent people in Kashmir Valley.
Similarly Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh had stated on record that Engineer Rashid had received a phone call from Pakistan after holding beef party. It means there was involvement of some anti-India forces in beef party. Engineer Rashid is fit case to be booked on sedition charges but the State Government has allowed him to spit venom. Today Engineer Rashid asked State Government to serve beef in J&K House in Delhi and other places.
Independent legislator Engineer Rashid on Wednesday asked the Jammu and Kashmir Government to include beef in the menu of J&K House in New Delhi and MLAs hostels in Srinagar and Jammu.
Rashid also hailed the decision of Kerala Government for again including beef in the menu of Kerala House in New Delhi.
On October 19, Engineer Rashid had alleged enacted drama of ink attack in New Delhi while he was coming out from press club after addressing a press conference for throwing a beef party.
"JK Government should respect the sentiments of Muslim community and introduce beef in food menu at J&K House Delhi and in MLAs hostels at in Jammu & Srinagar,'' he said while addressing a public gathering in his constituency, Langate.
