Director RDD pays surprise visit to Block Bari Brahmana 10/29/2015 12:43:29 AM Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 28: Director Rural Development Department (RDD) Jammu MLRaina paid a surprise visit to block Bari Brahmana here today and and took stock of the various developmental activities being taken up in the block under various central and state sponsoredschemes. According to press release, during his inspection he also checked the attendance of employees in the office of BDO and reviewed the progress achieved so far. He visited Panchayat Birpur Lower and inspected the construction of Lane Drain from link road to house of Kaka shoket at an estimated cost of Rs.1.50 lacs under MGNREGA. He also inspected the construction of Lane Drain from link road to house of kaka hussain at an estimated cost of Rs 2.00 lakhs under MGNREGA. On spot Directions were issued to Aijaz Qaiser BDO Bari Brahmana, to submit DPRs of Main Pond Birpur and construction of main path and landscaping of the walled premises besides the repair n renovation of BDO office Building under maintenance of assets. He enquired about the job site facilities and directed for medical first aid kits to be in place at each worksite. While expressing his satisfaction on the quality standards he laid emphasis on the construction of durable assets under MGNREGA in convergence with other line departments. Directions were issued for timely completion of projects undertaken and speedy payment to job seekers within stipulated time especially in the wake of coming festival season. Assistant Commissioner Development Samba, Tilak Raj Thapa also briefed the Director about the progress achieved so far in the entire district He also visited the CFC Smailpur and took stock of the progress achieved in the development of Model Village so far and directed the filed staff for the completion of left over works.
