Early Times Report RAMBAN, Oct 28: Sixty five educated unemployed youth of Ramban district were counseled during a two day Udaan Mega Recruitment drive at Government Degree College here. During this central government sponsored Udaan drive meant exclusively for the J&K youth only, the representatives of nine multinational companies held counselling sessions with the local graduates, post-graduates, three year Engineering Diploma holders and Engineering Degree candidates. They were provided information by these representatives verbally and through brochures as well and educated them about the prospects of getting employment in these companies. Anisha Pandita, Assistant, Strategic Project, Udaan, National Skill Development Coorporation informed that the representatives of Accenture (IT Co.), Ligare Voyages (Aviation Co.) CIPET (Central Institute for Plastic Engineering Technology),Manpower Group) (retail Co.,VISPL (Staff in and IT Co.), TNS (Telecom. Co.), KPMG and Mount talent Consulting counselled and interviewed the candidates. According to the during the 3 to 6 month of training the selected candidates would be paid Rs. 2,500 as stipend besides the facility of boarding, lodging and medical insurance by the concerned company. After the completion of the mandatory training the candidates would be employed by the company. |
