Samba, Oct 28:Continuing its drive against gamblers ahead of Diwali, Samba Police today arrested four (04) gamblers while recovering Rs 5300/- and playing cards. Police have registered a case in this regard. “The accused have been identified as Tarun Kattal s/o Anchal Singh, Balwinder Singh s/o Harsain Singh, Ashwani Singh s/o Karnail Singh and Tinku Singh s/o Baggu Singh all residents of Mawa Samba district, police said here today . Police spokesperson said, on specific information the police team headed by Inspector Sanjeev Chib, SHO P/S Samba under the supervision of Varinder Singh, Dy SP HQ Samba conducted raid near SIDCO Chowk Samba and nabbed four gamblers and recovered Rs. 5300/- as stake money (AKADI) alongwith playing cards from the spot. Police spokesperson said that all the accused were booked under 13 Gambling Act.
