Challan produced against Patwari 10/29/2015 1:35:52 AM Early Times Report Srinagar, Oct 28: A Challan of Case FIR No. 09/2014 Police Station Vigilance Organization Kashmir was produced before the Court of Special Judge Anti-corruption, Kashmir, Srinagar, against accused public servant namely Syed Mubashir Hanief son of Late Syed Mohammad Hanief resident of Alamdar Colony, Lal Bazar, Srinagar the then Patwari Halqa Sangam, Srinagar. The case was registered in P/S Vigilance Organization Kashmir on 03.04.2014 on a written complaint lodged by Syed Mudasir Ahmad S/o Syed Ghulam Nabi R/o Syedpora Eidgah, Srinagar alleging therein that his sister and sister-in-law (Babi) had recently purchased land measuring 01 kanal and 04 marlas situated at village Badi Wuder, Sangam, Srinagar. The complainant alongwith his sister and sister-in-law (Bhabi) approached concerned patwari Syed Mubashir Hanief for mutation of the said land. The said patwari in turn demanded an amount of Rs. 3500/- as bribe from them to mutate the land in their favour. The buyers of the said land being women and against paying of bribe, therefore, the complainant has visited the office of VOK on behalf of sister and sister-in-law and has brought the amount of Rs. 3500/- alongwith for legal action against the said patwari.
