J&K SC/ST Coordination Committee criticizes State Govt. 10/29/2015 1:39:50 AM Early Times Report jammu, Oct 28: All Jammu and Kashmir SC/ST Coordination Committee criticized the state Government and showed concern over the failure of the State Govt to protect the Legislation about the grant of promotion on the basis of reservation to the reserved classes’ government employees. Addressing media persons, they criticized the state Government for failing to to protect the Legislation about the grant of promotion on the basis of reservation to the reserved Classes Govt. Employees and stated that every day the suppressed classes’ people are facing humiliation and harassment at every level on caste based atrocities but no action being taken against the humiliaters. During this Government attacks on the 5C/ST people are increased and their rights are more violated. The Members of the SC/ST Coordination Committee appeals to the Govt. of J&K Sate to implement 77th, 81st , 82nd and ss” amendments of the Constitution of India to J&K State, also implement special Component plan / Tribal Plan and SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act in the State of J&K at once without any further delay. He urged that the Ministers of the reserved classes should come forward for protection of the rights of the reserved classes. Sunita Bangotra chairperson Savirti Bhai Phule Mahila Sangathan J&K while talking to media person in Jammu said that SC, ST &OBC constitute sizeable population of the country and deserve reservation as guaranteed in constitution of India.
