JAMMU, Nov 24: Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association shall be holding the 22nd State Ladies, Sub-junior, Junior and Senior Billiards and Snooker Championship at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here from November 28.
This was disclosed by a circular issued by the general secretary of the Association, here today. "It will be for the for the first time that ladies and sub-junior events have been introduced by the Association so as to expand the scope of the game in Jammu and Kashmir," general secretary, Vishal Abrol said.
Those interested to take part in this competition have been advised to submit their entries accompanied with an entry fee of Rs 200 (ladies, sub-junior and junior) and Rs 300 (for seniors) per event to senior cueist, Sohail Khalid (94191-92628) and marker, Rakesh (98581-80374) at Billiards Hall before November 27. A sub-junior participant should be of 18 years of age as on December 31, 2015 and the dress code will strictly be followed during the matches, the circular informed. It added that the competition shall be held according to the rules and regulations of Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI). |
