| DIET conducts surprise inspection of examination centers, schools | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Nov 24: With an aim to ensure smooth and copying free conduct of board examinations in far flung areas and to inspect the functioning of government schools, a team of District Institute of Education and Training conducted inspection in several examination centres of Kotranka Budhal and also withheld salaries of two teachers who were found absent from a government school.
Inspection was conducted in the backdrop of repeated complaints of mass copying. During the inspection, nothing adverse was found in conduct of examinations.
Similarly during visit of several government schools in the area by the team of DIET Rajouri, it was found that in Government Middle School Mal Rehan two teachers namely Javid Shah along with headmaster were not present after which Zonal Education Officer Peeri has been directed to withhold the salaries of both these officials and also to serve explanation notices to them. |
