PNBMT holds meet | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 25: Heads of the organizations of the Hindus of Kashmir and their representatives gathered at Amar Colony Gool Gujraal have requested all the MLA's of various political parties to fulfill the promises made to the community on the Shrine Bill and get the Bill passed in the coming session of the state legislature. This resolution moved by H N Jato and seconded by Dr R L Bhat was passed unanimously at the meeting organized by Prem Nath Bhat Memorial Trust in connection with the Shrine Bill the focus of this year's Chetna Divas to be observed on 27th December. The session was presided over by Shri Harji Lal Jad with Drs K N Pandita, R L Shant and P N Trisal. They emphasized the government should be pass the bill as a CBM to assure the minority of Kashmir that the powers are sincere in addressing their problems. They also resolved to keep on the struggle till the Shrine Bill was passed and exhorted the leaders of various political parties to act true to their promises so that the vast temple heritage is preserved. The speakers complimented the PNBM Trust for having produced a lasting document of the temple heritage of Kashmir in the form of the book Hindu Shrines of Kashmir written by Dr R L Bhat. |
