Adbi Kunj organizes special meet on 'creative prose writing' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 25 : A multilingual literary organization Adbi Kunj J&K, Jammu organized its special weekly literary meeting as a part of its events for the last 41st years to promote literary activities. According spokesperson, the organization held special meet on creative prose writing at its literary centre in the premises of Zee Pre Kidzee School Talab Tillo, Jammu. The meet was presided over by a noted Urdu short short story writer Talib Kashmiri whereas a prominent educationalist and intellectual Parneesh Mahajan and a well known social activist, Com. Jaswant Singh were the guest of honour. The prose collections presented during the occasion included "Aag" an Urdu short story by Talib Kashmiri, a Dogri short story "Doshi" by Sham Talib, "Man-Ki-Peeda" a Hindi short story by Aarash Om Dalmotra, "Mera-Mahi" Punjabi Short Story by Bishan Dass Khak, "Dad's Blessings" an English short story by K.L. Deewana. A poetry session was also organized in which eminent poets from region participated and recited their works. Earlier Sham Talib president of the organization presented welcome address and gave brief of the programme and activities of organization. Adbi Kunj condoled sad demise of Param Jit Singh the younger son of Com Jaswant Singh an oldest activist of the organization and observed two minutes silence to pray for the peace to departed soul. |
