J&K Grameen Bank organizes awareness programme on financial inclusion 11/27/2015 10:56:36 PM Early Times Report Jammu/Srinagar, Nov 27: J&K Grameen Bank under the chairmanship of RK Chhibber in collaboration with NABARD organized awareness programme on the Pradhan Mantri's Social Security Schemes at Rathana Morh, Dablehar. Area Manager Jammu Randhir Singh Billawria who was chief guest on the occasion spoke at length about the various Bank/NABARD schemes i.e., Farmer Clubs (FC's), Self Help Groups (SHG's) & Joint Liability Groups (JLG's). Speaking on the occasion V.K. Sharma Sr. Manager MF&FI Deptt J&K Grameen Bank informed the participants at length regarding the benefits of newly launched schemes named Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Atal Pension Yojana (APY). He further informed the gathering that these schemes have been designed to provide security cover to the poor population particularly those working in the unorganized sectors. He advised the people to avail this benefit through nearest Grameen Bank Branch. Financial Literacy Counselor Mohinder Kumar also spoke on the occasion.
