NPP assails Govt for spurning demands of teachers | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov. 27: Lambasting the Govt. for refusal to respond to the genuine demands of the teachers, education volunteers and ReT's appointed under SSA, RMSA who have been deprived of their hard earned wages for the last more than eight months, NPP State President Balwant Singh Mankotia that the Panthers Party shall continue its agitation for the cause of teaching community at every district headquarter till the Govt. agrees to fulfill all pending demands of teachers. Mankotia regretted that these teachers had submitted representations on numerous occasions to the top functionaries of the Education Department for redressed of their genuine grievances including timely release of salaries but all in vain. He said that it was shocking to note the harassment and humiliation doled out to teaching fraternity besides deprivation of their hard earned wages by the government which gave tall slogans of accountability and good governance. He said that the Panthers Party shall fight shoulder to shoulder with the aggrieved teachers and ReTs in their struggle for justice and sought an early release of their salaries adding further that next protest dharna of Panthers Party will be held at district head quarter Kathua on 29th Nov 2015 at 11.30 am opposite D.C. Office. |
