CRPF distributes sports kit to Govt school at Bhaderwah 11/27/2015 10:58:11 PM Early Times Report BHADERWAH, Nov 27: CRPF 33 battalion located at Bhaderwah today distributed sports Kits to Government High School Seri , here today. The kit was distributed to equip the school with sports facilities and encourage students to actively participate in extracurricular activities .DDC Doda Bupinder Kumar was chief guest on the occasion along with Commanding Officer 33 Battalion Narvir Singh , ASP Bhaderwah Amit Bhasin ,Tehsildar Bhaderwah Dr Amir Zargar and Deputy Commandant CRPF Aparna R S . Speaking on the occasion DDC Doda Bupinder Kumar said the aim of distributing sports items was to give an impetus to sports in the life of students hailing from far flung and remote areas.He said school had inadequacy of funds and sports items to cater for the sports needs of all students in the school and appreciated the CRPF to come forward to provide sports items to the students. The initiative by the CRPF battalion is bound to give the students a platform to display their talent in games and sports and compete with their brethren from the rest of the country, DDC Doda further said. Kumar emphasised on the role of family in ensuring that kids take up sports a career and also spoke on the role of business and jobs associated with sports. He noted that the health agenda had consistently emphasized the established links between physical activity and good health.
