PDP- BJP Govt fails to expedite development of Jammu: MDF 11/27/2015 11:50:26 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 27 : Muslim Development Forum (MDF) alleged that Coalition Government of PDP & BJP failed to expedite the construction work of under construction Markazi Jamia Masjid Talab Khatikan Jammu. Shabir Ahmed Shah president MDF said the predecessors Haj and Auqaf Ministers also could not fulfill their promises resulting multiplication of problems in the way of development of Jamia Masjid area. The primary demand of general public regarding widening of road from Rajinder Bazar to said Jamia Masjid and removal of encroachments around Jamia Masjid could not be done till date by authorities, even administration. Pertinent to say that the completion of construction work of proposed Markazi Jamia Masjid was fixed as the year 2013 but even at the conclusion of year 2015 only 30% work of the said Masjid Project could have been completed. The business community, shopkeepers, hotliers and pedestrians face difficulties in the area. There is no space for parking and the government has altogether ignored the problems faced to the inhabitants of the area. He further stated that the MDF (J&K) has been struggling hard for the last five years for the redressal of grievances of general public and for widening of road issue and has brought the matter in the notice of different Ministers including Haj & Auqaf Municipal authorities etc. But it is unfortunate that government has not taken the widening of road issue seriously and even failed to remove encroachments around Jamia Masjid.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
