| “Indian flexibility is no answer to Pak rigidity” | | | KUNDAN KASHMIRI
People of Indian nation, in Particular nationalist forces are surprised to see presumed "hardline" Modi Government "gave in" to a persistent Pakistani demand on a full spectrum dialogue with out any visible progress on either Mumbai attack trials or any concrete assurance that Pakistan would not use terrorism as a tool against India, soon after meeting of two National security advisers of India and Pakistan at Bangkok, a follow up of the brief meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi had with Pak premier Nawaz Shrief in Paris. It is a major concession given by India to Pakistan for the reasons and their understanding, which is yet to disclosed. our political masters in helm of affairs at the centre still want to gamble by opening the window for the talks and dialogue between two nations for which modalities are being worked out at highest level by Indian foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and Sartaj Aziz, advisor of Pak prime minister. It is most unfortunate for that these Indian leaders in helm of affairs do not understand or do not like to understand the game plan of Pakistan which has launched a proxy war against Indian nation since eighty's, willy nilly with the objective to disintegrate our country to get our economy squeezed and scuttled, derail our development plans and disturb our internal peace. Pakistan establishment started this proxy war because it is much cheaper for them and an open war is affordable for them as Pakistan itself is sinking in the quagmire of instability, anarchy etc., but united only to keep India unsettled. The terrorism which is at one hand an important tool of Pakistan to continue the proxy war for longer period with Indian nation to achieve their short term and long term objectives and at the other hand taking full advantage of flexible weak and wrong policies of Indian government after influencing Indian leadership through trace-II, diplomatic and foreign channels to involve India in dialogue process, out of which Indian nation has nothing to achieve. In short, PAK continue to keep its terror option open, while demanding engagement with India under fake and false arguments.
The politicians run the polity of Pakistan and its military establishment have never behaved as a good neighbor and bleed India by its Indian terrorist policies. Despite of Flexible policies and open mind for dialogue, trade etc. shown by Indian leadership time to time, Pakistan demonstrated nothing in positive and continued to be rigid, un-realistic and selfish. Pak government refused to take firm action and discernible steps against hard core terrorists present at their soil, who are directly responsible for Kashmir turmoil and Mumbai carnage, No doubt Indian security force liquidated and arrested some hard core terrorists which include Abdul Karim Tunda, Yasin Bhatkal and some other dreaded terrorists , for which we must neither get so euphoric nor get complacent, as couple of killings and arrests do not cripple the adversary as well as their replacement are already in place. Also despite of all pressures from world bodies, Pakistan continue to shield its own terrorist proxies and have not discarded terrorism as an instrument of state policy. Infiltration on borders are going on at large scale, training camps continue in POK and some parts of Pakistan, ceasefire violations are going on constantly with heavy shelling. Besides, our so many our Army officers and jawans were killed which two Jawans were be-headed and five other were mercilessly got killed after coming deep in side of Indian border. Pak pickets on borders are not only launching pads for terrorist but also shulter and protection positions for them who cross this side of Indian border. Fake currency is pumped like any thing in our country to adversely effect our economy.
But at the other hand Indian leadership in helm of affairs are doing exactly opposite to this roguish conduct of Pakistan. We are dealing terrorism on an adhoc basis, without understanding that terrorism in more dangerous than cancer, adversely effecting our nation. Our rulers in helm of affairs failed to take strong, effective and comprehensive measures to counter and tackle the disease of terrorism in our country. Our political masters in helm of affairs have either became habitual of dialogue over dialogue with Pakistan or succumbing time and again under the pressure of various Pro-PAK lobbies and separatist forces for the same, without analyzing its repercussions. These pro-Pak lobbies and separatist forces fully understand that dialogue is completely in their favor and India has nothing to achieve out of it. Therefore, the meaningful dialogue with Pakistan is impossible, till it is Kashmir centric as well as Pak keep its terror option open and maintains its Indian centric terrorist policies, which India government should directly convey to Pakistan without any hesitation.
Indian rulers in helm of affair have to understand that our flexibility and concessions towards Pakistan is not reply to the rigid and rough policies of Pakistan. India helped Pakistan to enter security council, not vetoed the European union's special trade concessions for Pakistan, gave most favored nation (MFN) status fifteen year back and also bailed our Pakistan at various occasions on the issue of terrorism. Even declared former Pak Prime Minister Mr. Geelani, as a "Man of peace" by our Prime-Minister Sardar Man Mohan Singh forgetting Kashmir turmoil and Mumbai carnage and also without mentioning the actual role played by him for the said peace.
Now, it is need of the time and demand of Indian masses in general to stop flexible policies by our rulers towards Pakistan which gives contradictory and confusing signals. It is also advisable and beneficial for the people of the country that our political masters should take nation in confidence and thoroughly analyze the effects and repercussions of dialogue, which is never in the interest of Indian nation. At the same time our government at the centre should initiate talks with people of Jammu and Kashmir under the ambit of Indian constitution after rejecting the options like autonomy, self rule and Azadi. The dialogue process with those internally displaced Kashmiri hindus who are in exile in their own country from the last twenty six years is urgently required to protect their interests, existence and resettle them consolidatedly as a community as per their wishes. They are most effected people of terrorism in state of J&K and wrong policies of the government taken time to time which resulted they rendered homeless and are scattered through out country at present. There is also urgent need of getting people of Jammu and Ladakh in confidence to redress their grievances and accept their genuine issues, that includes abrogation of Article 370. That would be the key factor to resolve the crisis in the state of J&K., which needs courage, sincerity and will power of the Government.
