Decade on, building for Medical Health centre awaits completion 12/11/2015 10:48:51 PM Arun Kumar Early Times Report Kathua, Dec 11: A decade on, building for medical health centre at Hamirpur village in Kathua district awaits completion. People of Hamirpur village falling in the home town of JK Health Minister Ch. Lal Singh have been waiting for the completion of the building. Naresh Khajuria, a prominent citizen of Panchayat Hamirpur said a decade has gone by when construction work of building for Health centre was started but ironically it can't be complete after long passage of time that points out the working of previous and present government. He informed that 5 to 6 villages and nearly 600 people are suffering for want of building and proper medical facilities in the Panchyat but after several assurances from Health Ministers and concerned officers the building is yet to complete. Ajay Kumar a youth said health Centre is functioning from rented building that can't function properly. Insufficient medical staff adds the suffering of people that is possible as existing building is insufficient. He demanded completion of construction work with immediate effect to respite the villagers. He sought special attention of Health Minister for the completion of construction work of building. Ram Lal, an old man, said incomplete building is in deteriorating position due to use of sub-standard concrete materials. He alleged on JEs and contractor to make huge money and finished all funds without completing the construction work. The villagers demanded strict action against such corrupt officials who involved in the scam and early completion of construction work. It is relevant to mention here that there are several other buildings meant for Health centres are incomplete and lack of proper medical facilities which need special attention but who bell the cat as the minister has nothing to do than pat his back at political stages.
