| Daljit Chib discusses arrangements of Kisan Mela | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 11: Daljit Singh Chib, Vice Chairman J&K State Advisory Board for Development of Kisans along with Secretary Kisan Board G N Mir and other officials, undertook a comprehensive tour to many places in Billawar tehsil of Kathua district today and discussed with other stake holders for ensuing one day Awareness Camp cum Kisan Mela which is scheduled to be held there during the last week of the present month.
Scores of farmers met the Vice Chairman and expressed their desire to whole heartedly welcome the Hon'ble Ministers and other dignitaries who will come to attend the Mela and thanked him for selecting a far-flung and remote area like Billawar for this event.
While addressing the gatherings, the Vice Chairman introduced the functioning of Kisan Board to the farmers and stated that Government has provided a platform to the farmers of the State in the shape of Kisan Board where they can come and discuss their problems which they are facing at grass root level while doing their farming job. |
