Govt should implement its orders of 'waving off KCC loans': Javid Reshi | | | Early Times Report Poonch, Dec 11: A non political organisation "Insaaf Movement" today urged the state government to implement its order in which government had announced to wave off the KCC loan of farmers across the state. Addressing a media conference, founder Insaaf Movement, Javid Iqbal Reshi appealed the state government to implement its order in regard to waving off loans to farmers against KCC across the state. Reshi said that during his recent visit to far flung areas of the Poonch district, the farmers have apprised him with their problems especially relate to poor economic status and complained that they further will suffer if the government fails to implement its orders. "As per farmer they got shocked when banks starting demanding loans from them despite assurance from govt to wave off loans. Reshi reminded that government order should be implemented in true spirits which reads to wave off full loan of farmer having less than fifty thousand rupees income. He said that the farmers are not in a position to repay their loan after destruction of their crops in 2014 floods/ land slides. Mohd Abas Malik, Niaz Chouhan, Saheem Jaffer, Mukhtar Ahmed Mohd Shabir, Riaz Ahmed, Barkat Hussain and other workers of the movement also were present in this media interaction . |
