Advocates protest over security lapse in Distt Court 12/11/2015 10:16:55 PM Early times report Udhampur, Dec 11: Lawyers in District Court Udhampur today suspended work, protesting against the security lapse in the court complex after two parties engaged dual and threatened advocates who tried to pacify the two sides. Protestors also demanded suspension of present security officer for security lapse. Demanding the suspension of security officer of District Court Udhampur, the advocates namely Rahul Jandial, Pawan Jandial, Sahmeem Ahmed, Surinder Singh, Jai Dev Salathiya and others told media persons that two parties this morning at around 10.30 am got involved in verbal dual initially and then started assaulting each other. "The scuffling members of two sides also threatened some advocates who tried to stop the scuffle, they said. Protesting advocates said, "The advocates decided to suspend work in protest against the security lapses in the court complex as the scuffle might have proved a serious threat to security of judicial officers, advocates and litigants."
