Plus-2 Lecturers’ Forum criticizes Education Minister 12/11/2015 11:10:38 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 11: The Central body of All J& K Plus-2 Lecturers' Forum today expressed concern over the posting and transfers of some lecturers at a time when the academic session is at its peak. They rued that in July-August, this year, the then Director School Education also ordered a no of transfers, a large no of them against the other subjects, which affected the educational activities in the schools. They said that despite the Education Minister's categorical statement that transfers will be affected in June-July in Jammu Division and in January-February in Kashmir Division, the recent transfers on the basis of pick and choose policy tell a different story. They also demanded that the tenure of all the lecturers and officers of plus 2 Cadre in Ladakh and other such areas be fixed as one year. They demanded complete ban on midterm transfers till the academic session is over so that the students do not suffer. They also demanded enhancement of the grade pay of Principals and declaration of their post as non vacational and removal of pay anomaly of lecturers in Physical Education. They also expressed concern over inordinate delay in regularization of all Jt. Directors, Chief Education Offices, Principals and lecturers serving in the Incharge capacity in the School Education Department etc for years together and demanded that orders in this respect be issued at the earliest. They also demanded that the posts of Jt. Directors in the School Education Department and Chairman, Secretary and J1.
