JAMMU, Dec 11: A woman was killed and ten others sustained injuries when two vehicles collided with each other at Nagrota area, this morning.
The woman was killed on the spot and ten other passengers were injured when a minibus and a truck collided with each other near Peer Baba in Nagrota area.
The minibus was on its way to Jammu from Nagrota area and the truck was on its way to Udhampur from Jammu when the incident took place, they said.
The injured have been shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) hospital, police said, adding a case was registered and investigation started.
The deceased has been identified as Veena Sharma wife of Vachespati resident of Nagrota while injured have been identified as Pooja Devi wife of Shiv kumar resident of kandoli Nagrota, Ashok son of dewan chand resident of Nagrota Bypass, Usha wife of Ramesh resident of Nagrota Bypass, Bir Bhadur son of Ram Sunder Parsad resident of Nagrota, Patras son of Buta Massi resident of Nagrota, Mohd Shafi son of Mohd Akbar resident of Tadini Nagrota, Shamim daughter of Jamal Din rsident of Nagrota. |
