POONCH, Dec 11: To take stock of the functioning of various sections of Sub District Hospital (SDH) Surankote of Poonch district, the Director Health Services (DHS) Jammu, Dr Baljit Singh Pathania today paid surprise visit to hospital and interacted with the patient and attendants to get the first hand report.
"Director Health Services , Jammu Dr Pathania was accompanied by Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Poonch Dr Mumtaz Hussain Bhatti, Dr Parvaiz Ahmed Khan Block Medical Officer (BMO) Surnkote and other health officials, an official said.
During the inspection the Director Health Services Jammu Dr Pathania took a round all section of SDH, Surankote including Causality, Inpatient Wards, X-Ray Section, Labour Room, clinical laboratories and also checked dress code and punctuality of employees and doctors as per roaster of the duties.
Dr Pathania cautioned the concerned to be careful with their duties and it should be ensured that public work does not suffer. He also instructed providing hassle free treatment facilities to the patients in the hospitals besides covering all the pregnant mothers and neonates under the benefits of NRHM. |
