JKMEF holds meet, highlights demands | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 8: Jammu and Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) today held a meeting and highlighted demands here at Jammu. According to press release, Federation president Sushil Sudan said that the Class IV employees from different Health Institutions of Jammu Division discussed various facets with leaders and pointed out some important issues which need immediate redressal. All the Class IV employees under one voice raised their issues and acquainted the leaders of JKMEF with problems they are facing on day to day basis and pressed hard for getting their solution. They demanded Pensionery benefits shall be given to those Class-IV employees who were recently regularized after years of service. Long pending DPC of the Cadre, should be conducted. 25 percent quota shall be given for para medical training courses to the Class-IV employees working in Health Department. Fresh recruitment shall be conducted to fill up the vacant posts of Class-IV employees in Health Department. During the meeting a general body election of the association was held under the supervision of Sushil Sudan, President JKMEF.. Kulraj Kumar was unanimously nominated and elected as Provincial President of the Association. Nakul Sharma as senior Vice President, Vikas Valarian as Vice President, Sandesh Razdan as General Secretary, Sunil Gupta as Cashier, Vijay Kumar Publicity Secretary, Sat pal Bhagat Secretary, Durga Das Assistant Secretary. |
