UDHAMPUR, Jan 8: A pedestrian died when he was hit by an army vehicle at Jakheni near here on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
According to police reports, late last night an army vehicle hit a pedestrian identified as Ram Rattan, 50, son of Sita Ram of Jakheni.
After getting the information of the incident, the police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person to Command Hospital Udhampur.
However, the grievously injured person succumbed to the injuries though the doctors tried the best to save him by providing specialized treatment. |
