CCI- Jammu hails Mehbooba's nomination as next CM

Jammu, Jan 8: Members of Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCI) Jammu today paid rich floral tributes to chief minister late Mufti Mohammed Sayeed in a meeting held here today at Chamber House. Meantime Chamber also hailed the coalition regimes unanimous decision to choose Mehbooba Mufti as the next chief minister of state.
Speaking on the occasion, President Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rakesh Gupta alongwith his office bearers extended heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed the chief minister of state. Later President CCI Jammu Gupta also appreciated the timely action of the PDP for reposing faith in the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti through a communication sent to the N N Vohra the Governor of State. "The Chamber extends full support to Madam Mehbooba Mufti and wishes her all the very best to her in taking over the reins of the state of Jammu & Kashmir, he said.
He said although it will take time for Mehbooba Mufti to act without the guidance of her father but we are very sure that her vast experience and being baptized by her father will not take long for her to handle the reins of state and take urgent necessary measures to keep away the destructive forces from disturbing the hard earned peace in the state.
The President Chamber also appreciated the stand of the BJP in supporting the internal decision of PDP to unanimously choose Mehbooba as the next Chief Minister.
Earlier paying tributes to late leader, Gupta and others said that Mufti Ji has left us at a very crucial juncture where the people of the state needed him the most. Speakers also described late Mufti Sahib as a person with strong determination, vision and had the ability to take tough decisions in this conflict zone state.
Sham Lal Langer, Sr Vice President, Deepak Aggarwal, Jr Vice President, Rahul Mahajan, Secretary and Ashu Gupta, Treasurer also paid tributes to late leader.
