JAMMU, Feb 13: Security forces in a joint operation today busted a militant hideout and recovered cache of arms and ammunition including grenades, AK ammunition and etc in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Defence spokesperson said, "The troops of Rashtriya Rifles battalion based at Banihal under Delta Force alongwith police launched a search operation in the dense forest of Bajpathri area of Banihal of Ramban district and busted a militant hideout.
He said that the joint operation by troops launched the search operation recovered arms and ammunition from the hideout which included three Pistols with magazines, 2042 rounds of AK 47, 25 rounds of Sniper rifle, five hand grenades, five magazines of AK-47, two radio sets, one weapon sight and other sustenance stores. |
