| Minor girl killed, three injured in 'lightening' | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Apr 2: A minor girl was killed on spot while three others were injured seriously when lightening struck in remote village in Rajouri this evening.
As per police a 17 years old Mansha Begam daughter of Ghulam Nabi was killed on spot when lightening struck village Dhar Sakri under the jurisdiction of Kotranka Block at about 2.30 pm. As predicted by the Meteorological Department torrential rains followed by thunder storm and lightening hit the entire Rajouri district in the afternoon.
Mansha died on the spot while other three identified Bag Hussain (55) s/o Wali Mohd, Mohd Tuuffail (35) son of Jumma and Javid Iqbal (12) son of Bag Hussain were injured seriously. "All the injured were immediately shifted to Primary Health Centre (PHC) Dhar Sakri from where they were referred to District Hospital Rajouri for further treatment. "All the three admitted in the hospital are stable and responding to the treatment" said Dr Anies, Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Rajouri. |
