Poor BSNL services irk consumers in Poonch 4/2/2016 11:18:03 PM Poonch, Apr 2: The consumers of only public sector Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) are facing severe difficulties as the services continued to remain defunct across the Poonch district. According to the locals, the BSNL services including landline, cellular services and internet services are not functioning in Mendhar, Surankote and other parts of Poonch district following a strong windstorm and thunderstorm that hit the district last week and the BSNL services were snapped down. "Apart from cellular services, the landline and internet services too are non operational adding woes to the consumers, a local from Mendhar added. Majority of BSNL consumers told Early Times that the student and business community are facing lot of difficulties after partial snapping of the BSNL services. They lamented they are standing in odd position when they find them cut off from connectivity while all those who have opted the private cellular service providers are enjoying hassle free connectivity of mobile and internet as well They alleged that BSNL officials are not taking any steps to restore the services.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
