Govt extends exemption period under JK Entertainment Duty Act 4/2/2016 11:38:35 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 2: The Government has exempted cinema halls located in malls and multiplexes from payment of duty upto 30th June 2016 leviable under Jammu and Kashmir Entertainment Duty Act- 1959. "In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section-11 of the Jammu and Kashmir Jammu and Kashmir Entertainment Duty Act- 1959 and in continuation of SRO-122 dated: 31-03-2006, the Government hereby exempt Cinema Halls located in Malls and Multiplexes from payment of duty leviable under the said Act upto 30-06-2016," reads the notification issued by the Commissioner Secretary to the Government, Finance Department.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
