JK technocrat society condoles Bakshi's demise | IC Jandial recalls his contributions | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 2: The J& K Society of Technocrats has condoled the death of its President,Jatinder Bakshi. In a press release issued by Secy general of the Society I C Jandial recalled the contributions of Jatinder Bakshi for the civil society of Jammu and Kashmir in general and JK Society in particular and said that he played a pioneering role in development of Kashmir sewerage system during militancy when he was Chief engineer of the department. His role in return of Kashmiri migrants was appreciated not only by various governments in power but by Kashmiri Muslims also. In an another message Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal former Minister & Patron-in -Chief of the Society expressed profound grief over the demise of Bakshi and said that he has lost a true friend and the state a brilliant engineer and a philanthropist. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed to God to give them enough courage to bear the loss. Further in order to fill the void created on the death of Jatinder Bakshi Dr Kamaal issued instructions to I c Jandial Secy general of the Society to take over the charge of President as an interim measure and also nominated Hari Singh its Secy. |
