Jammu, Apr 2 : The grand finale of Yogananda Premier League (YPL), a weeklong cricket tournament was held in Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) sports ground.
Four Teams representing different departments of YCET, i.e.; Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Computer Engineering, participated in the competitive event. Er. Vidhi S Singh, Chairman, JGEI, was the Chief Guest and Er. Renu Bangroo, Managing Director, JGEI was the Guest of Honour.
The event was organized by Sports Club Golden Gladiators of YCET under the guidance of Er. Loveneesh Talwar, Sports I/c. The event witnessed high degree of enthusiasm and competitive fervour among budding engineers.
In a keenly contested final match between Mechanical Engineering Team & Civil Engineering Team, the latter defeated the former to clinch the shining trophy. Hanni Khajuria, VI Sem, Civil Engg, for his outstanding performance, was declared the Man of the Match. Prizes were given away to the winners.
Dr Seema Narain, Director, YCET, thanked the organizing club members and congratulated the winners.
Er. Bodh Raj Verma, Chief Coordinator, RS Dalpatia, Dy Registrar, AK Kaul, TPO and senior faculty members Er Rajnish Magotra, Er. Rhea Mahajan, Er. Dinesh Gupta, Er. Robin Kumar, Er. Neeraj Pandita, Dr. Sumit Sanotra were present on the occasion.
