CTFJ delegation calls on Finance Secretary | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 30: A delegation of Chamber of Traders Federation Jammu led by its President Neeraj Anand met Finance Secretary Naveen Choudhary here today and congratulated him on assuming the additional charge of Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti. Referring to the earlier memorandum submitted to the Finance Minister Haseeb A. Drabu in the pre-budget meeting Anand requested him to kindly review the same and redress problems being faced by the Trading Community on various matters while finalization of budget. Admitting that passage of GST is round the corner Anand emphasis upon the Government to take pro active role in getting GST through since more than any other State our State is going to benefit the most. Deliberating upon the FDI in e-commerce and its effect on small retailers, members expressed their desire to deliberate on the issue with the Govt, in place. Highlighting the inadequacy to give employment in retail business Anand demanded that adequate space at affordable prices should be made available to new startups in retail. |
