Fire in Rajouri forest causes huge loss 5/1/2016 9:36:18 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, May 1: The fire which broke out in forest belt in Rajouri caused huge loss to forest property worth lacs of rupees. As per reports the forest belt stretching on Rajouri Jammu National Highway in Chingus , Narian and Bathuni area has spread to a large area of the forest. The forest fire that started during intervening night of Saturday and Sunday has not been controlled by concerned department so far. As per reports the forest fire is spreading very fast and living creatures including flora and fauna is burning to ashes. The fire has caused huge loss to the forest wealth and no measures have so far been taken to control this fire. When contacted forest official said that the team has been sent to control the fire and soon fire will be controlled.
