| NPP's Tiranga Rally no solution to problems confronting people | | | Early Times Report.
Jammu, May 1: The proposed Tiranga Rally planned by leaders of JK National Panther Party, whose political activities are confined to Jammu posing themselves as saviour of Dogras, to spread the message of national integrity, unity and harmony may be a good gesture but not to ameliorate the lot of people of Jammu who are still treated with disdain and discrimination by successive governments including BJP leaders of Jammu.
The media reports emanating in newspaper revealed the plan of Panther party to fight tooth and nail against any disrespect to tricolor and the motherland in the wake of NIT row in Srinagar by projecting party to start Tiranga rally from Lal Quila to Lal Chowk and may be a wonder creating idea for panthers to take reverse journey from Jammu to New Delhi to start rally from Lal Quila with the concept more likely to attract the attention of media to highlight the panthers now in a doldrums than to achieve the basic purpose of seeking solution to NIT crisis which has become green fodder for various parties to take political mileage to keep their flag of politics held high than the Taringa of the country which does not need such support system to remain hoisted in the sky being it's respect and sanctity always held high by all countrymen in their hearts who have unflinching faith being Indian and impeccable value of India.
The analysts viewing the plan of panthers to start Taringa Rally from Lal Quila from 4 May note with astonishment that if the leaders of the party were really serious about the ambiguous fate of non local students and truly concerned to provide breathing space to them, they should have begun the Taringa rally from Jammu itself much more earlier when these students direly needed some one to come and listen to their grievances facing brutalities of police and exasperation of local students alone and what to talk of Taringa rally, which is bound to have adverse repercussions given the past experience of various political parties including BJP having attempted so, the leaders of Panther Party even could not make it to reach NIT during hours of crisis last month to take care of aggrieved students, even as, obviously lacking guts and grits, not a leader of Panther party did ever make a single attempt to reach NIT to pat outstation students being local leaders having remained as legislators and even a minister in the state government with now raising a boggy of Tiranga rally to appease people who are not naive now to understand their petty political gimmickry.
The political analysts say with dismay that what is the real constructive contribution of Panther Party started by Prof. Bhim Singh in Jammu province decades ago ostensibly to work as champion of Dogras cause who have been bearing the brunt of age old discrimination and step motherly treatment by Kashmiri leaders and now at the hands of local BJP leaders whose political fate is run through remote control by BJP high command from Delhi to keep the Jammu people at the tenterhooks for pleasing the Kashmiri leaders and sticking to chair for which people of Jammu Province have voted them to power but were treated shabbily afterwards showing its real face.
The observers point out that simply holding press conferences in Air conditioned rooms and unfolding their plans to do this or that is not going to attract the attention of people and shall not apparently be the panacea of problems confronting people of Jamnu for which Panther Party was made by its founder leader, Prof.Bhim Singh who also could not bring new faces of established political credibility in the party out of the family circle and did not make much dent to stem the flow of discrimination with Jammu except to emotionally exploit the people of Jammu on the plea of serving the cause of Dogras in Jammu belonging to different religions ,caste and creed ,further said , adding that all these reasons primarily led to give vent to the suppressed fury of people which paved way for full route out of Panther party in the last Assembly election held in 2014 which should be the moot point for the leaders of the party to focus on and do deep introspection with regard to omission and commission at the party level taking remedial measure to put the party back on forefront of politics in the state for which,if not the majority, but some sections of society here in Jammu still pin hopes on panthers to prove its credentials of saviour of Dogras of Jammu as BJP has failed to prove its fidelity towards its voters ditching and deceiving the people of Jammu on the strength of Modi wave for which the people are bound to teach lesson to BJP when their turn comes as was done to Panther Party in 2014. |
