2 teachers attached in CEO office Reasi | Attachment syndrome | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 2: Setting aside all the directions issued from time to time by the Chief Minister of the state Mehbooba Mufti, a Chief Education Officer (CEO) has allegedly attached two teachers in his office on verbal orders in Reasi district. Sources in the education department stated that two teachers were attached in the office of Chief Education Officer (CEO) Reasi against the directions of Chief Minister and even the governor when there was governor rule in the state. However, the CEO Reasi, Vinod Kumar Soni justified the attachments by simply saying that his office is under staff and he needs atleast two persons who can do work related to SSA, RAMSA and Right To Information (RTI) applications. He further added that on daily basis this office is receipting around eight RTI applications and his office is under staff. On the other side locals rued that there is nexus between attached teachers and the official owing to which they are being attached in the same office for the last much time despite the direction s from the higher ups. Earlier, the Director School Education (DSE) Jammu has suspended ZEO Ramgarh, Samba district, following complaint against him for non-compliance of the Government order on detachment of teaching staff in the month of February. |
