Excise deptt seizes Polythene, liquor at Lakhanpur 5/2/2016 11:32:50 PM Early Times Report kathua, May 2: The active sleuths of Excise department have detected and seized 32 bottles of imported liquor at the entry point of the state being imported clandestinely. The vehicle along with the seized liquor and the driver have been handed over to the Excise and Taxation officer, Excise Range Kathua for further action under the provision of J & K Excise Act. Earlier the staff of the Toll Post Lakhanpur detected 200 Kgs of polythene from a Toyota Innova car bearing registration no JK02AF-0872. The seized vehicle along with the polythene has been handed over to the pollution control board for further action under the relevant law.
