Militant's wife detained with alleged Hawala money of Rs 2 Lakh | | | Early Times Report
jammu, May 19: A slain militant's wife was nabbed with the huge amount of Rs two lakhs alleged 'Hawala money' during a raid conducted at her residence. Besides cash police also have seized the three mobile handsets from her residence here on Thursday. Police sources said woman identified namely as Hanifa Begum wife of slain militant Sadam Hussain was detained with Rs 2 lakh cash alongwith three mobiles handsets during raid conducted at Mahore area in district Reasi. "Based on the information, police team conducted a raid at her residence and effected the seizure of the money and mobiles sets," police sources said. They said, "Mahore police have started investigations after registering a case under FIR No: 29/2016 u/s 13 /40 Unlawful Activity Act." Pertinently Sadam (her husband) s sleft styled commander of militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was killed in a fierce gun battle with the security forces in a forest in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir in 2009.
